Julie has a wealth of experience working with people in need of guidance, support and clarity. She is an expert and a natural when it comes to customer service and resilience. In her 22 years with the Ontario Public Service as a caseworker, manager and learning and training consultant with the Ministry of Community & Social Services; as well as through her studies with Dr. John Demartini (Human Behavior Specialist), at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and at the Hahnemann College for Heilkunst, she has developed her skills as a self-development coach, trainer and empowerment speaker. She has mastered the art of listening through inquiring and by bringing awareness of what needs to be handled. She helps individuals prioritize and guides them to clarify their action steps and the path to take in order to reach their goals. The bonus? Not only to you get things done, you learn to re-connect with your inner strength and develop your own strategies that last a lifetime. She has learned to balance work demands with day-to-day life, has a balanced perspective on life and lives truthfully with heart and with health!
Julie’s expertise is Resilience! Having her trainer job within the OPS abolished after 22 years of service, she persevered through the challenges of losing a steady job, discovered her purpose, kept focused, became an entrepreneur and founded Richer Transformations.
Her presentations to organizations are filled with information on how to increase one’s health & well-being in order to overcome challenges, keep moving forward with strength, confidence and meaning. She has delivered keynote speeches on Resilience and Change Management training to the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities, the Ministry of Community & Social Services, the Office Administration Group (OAG) Conference, the Ottawa Interministerial Council (OIC) Health and Wellness Learning Event, twice at the I Wanna Feel Good Conference in Sudbury ON, at the Ottawa Health & Wellness Event, at Health Canada, at Ottawa Hydro, to the Women’s Business Network, with the City of Ottawa and with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC).
